The US president spoke out early Sunday morning, June 22, after the country launched an airstrike against three of Iran's main nuclear facilities. Donald Trump was accompanied by Vice President JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. Quoted by the American press, the US president confirmed the attack and made new threats to the Iranian regime.
"The strikes were a spectacular military success," he said. Trump also said that "our goal was to destroy Iran's nuclear enrichment capability and eliminate the nuclear threat posed by the world's number one state sponsor of terrorism." Trump also assured that the strikes were a spectacular military success. "Iran's main nuclear enrichment facilities have been totally and completely destroyed. And he warned that "Iran, the bully of the Middle East, must now make peace. If it does not, future attacks will be much bigger and much easier."
