This time, through a new team of lawyers, hired by TotalEnergies, “Integrity” found out from sources duly positioned at the Judicial Court of the City of Maputo (TJCM) that a clerk's assistant assigned to the 13th Section, had received an amount of 150 thousand Meticais to make it difficult to follow the process in question.
The sources revealed that the officer in question committed himself to the defaulting party so that throughout the search for justice by the Passion For Brands team of lawyers, he would present justifications and alleged illegalities to allow the TJCM sentence to be ineffective. In fact, the maneuvers of the officer in question have already been reported to the Judge President of the TJCM and the Judge President of the Supreme Court.
The fact is that “Passion For Brands, due to the facts that are creating discomfort and the impossibility of executing the court orders that appear in the records, and suspecting that everything has to do with what was exposed in the requests submitted to the Court, referring to the behavior of someone from the registry office”, submitted a letter on the incidence of suspicion, against the assistant of Clerk Custódio Pelembe, assigned to the 13th Section.
All because "from the day on which letters referring to such orders were issued and as well as from the date of issuance of the respective order, even after notifying the parties, there is an absolute inertia on the part of the registry office to comply with the aforementioned decisions. Having, on the 27th and 28th of May 2025, through its representatives, Passion For Brands presented evidence of interference obstructing the fulfillment of the decision.”
However, the complainants understand that the official in question demonstrates impartiality and suspicions of collusion with the other party, which is why, a suspicion was requested against the official that the Court sovereignly issues a note to the registry office to comply with court decisions, with compliance being mandatory.
It should be noted that the sentence on the case was handed down in February of this year, but so far it has not yet been complied with, since TotalEnergies in collusion with TJCM officials, the leaders of the commercial banks where the multinational's accounts are domiciled and political interest groups have been doing everything to ensure that the case does not have a judicial outcome already sanctioned.
